Shape The Future Of Defence Infrastructure On A Landmark Nuclear Project At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Project Manager based at our Glasgow site, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-value, long-term defence infrastructure programme that is critical to national security.

Role Overview

You will lead projects across the full lifecycle, working alongside industry-leading experts and collaborating with joint venture partners and key stakeholders. This role is based in Glasgow, working 37 hours per week, with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer sites expected.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, and quality targets are met
  • Manage and mentor an Assistant Project Manager while supporting wider team development
  • Collaborate with joint venture partners, suppliers, and client stakeholders to drive project success
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to senior leadership, including a Senior Project Manager
  • Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and change in a complex engineering environment

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience managing projects across the full lifecycle
  • Application of project management principles within civil infrastructure or complex engineering environments
  • Experience within regulated industries such as defence or nuclear (advantageous)
  • Stakeholder management across multiple organisations and disciplines
  • Leadership or support of teams in a project delivery environment

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Project management qualification aligned to the Association of Project Management or similar (desirable)
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts (advantageous)

Security Clearance

Must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Clearance (SC) for this role.
