The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s most critical engineering programmes, helping to deliver complex nuclear projects that shape national security and clean energy. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact work from design through to commissioning, while developing your career in a dynamic, future-focused environment.
You’ll be based at our Rosyth site for 3 days per week, with hybrid working patterns available. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week.
Supporting the Senior Project Manager, day-to-day, you’ll

  • Drive Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality across the project.
  • Manage customer relationships and project risks, identifying and implementing effective responses.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, defining clear roles and responsibilities within your area of responsibility.
  • Drive performance through employee engagement, continuous improvement, and innovation to deliver the schedule.
  • Oversee project planning and financial monitoring, reporting progress and corrective actions for your scope of work.
Essential Experience Of The Project Manager
  • Proven experience in nuclear project management.
  • Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Background in managing design projects, ideally within submarines or dockyard environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and supplier interface experience.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
Qualifications For The Project Manager
  • Degree or equivalent in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
Security Clearance
