The role

As a Maintenance System Operator, you'll provide vital maintenance system support to service delivery teams, helping to ensure work is effectively managed, tracked and completed to the highest standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Operating work order systems to support the timely delivery of maintenance activities for customers.
• Supporting the procurement of spares, consumables and office supplies through established procurement processes.
• Maintaining and updating maintenance tracking systems to ensure accurate reporting and effective service delivery.
• Providing administrative support and collating data for customer and business reports.
• Identifying and implementing service improvements that enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.

This role is based at Sellafield and is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30. The team works an additional 30 minutes per day, equating to up to 13 additional days' leave per year.

Essential Experience:

• Using Microsoft Office applications confidently in a busy working environment.
• Working within a service delivery, operations support or customer-focused environment.
• Managing documentation, records or controlled information accurately.
• Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is beneficial.

Qualifications:

• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in English.
• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in Mathematics.
• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in a Science subject.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national and able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
