Our client is a well-established, market leading business within the luxury goods market – they are widely recognised as one of the best companies in their industry. With an impressive portfolio of some of the industry’s best known luxury brands they sell to both contract and retail markets. Some of their contract customers include leading high end hospitality and leisure projects and their retail customers would include luxury interior retailers where their products can be purchased for individual home décor and interior design projects by consumers with an eye for design.

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the interiors industry’s most reputable businesses to manage and develop sales across the South West of England. As an active member of the UK Sales team, responsibilities will include:

  • Field based sales across the South West region, selling to both contract and retail customers.
  • Driving sales activities and achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
  • Supporting the existing account base and targeting new business development opportunities.
  • Providing all round customer support to include interior design project management and scheming.
  • Supporting product launches, promotions and competitor analysis.
  • Attending trade events, exhibitions and promotional events.
  • Addressing and resolving any customer service issues.
  • Maintaining commercial, market sector and competitor awareness at all times.
  • Submitting weekly reports to management.
  • Attending regular sales meetings.

The ideal candidate will have proven a successful background of sales and/or marketing and/or interior design experience within recognised luxury interiors or fashion brands along with:

  • A proven track record of successful sales, business development and winning new business/increasing sales through lead generation.
  • Previous success at meeting and exceeding challenging and ever-changing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with people at all levels of seniority.
  • An ambitious and resilient personality with a passion for achieving targets.
  • Natural networking skills with a highly self-motivated attitude, being able to manage your own area within the business.
  • Numerical skills to be able to manage sales budgets.

Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 Basic (DOE) + c. £12,000 commission + company car + benefits.
