My client is a company that operates nationwide supplying commercial catering equipment with the majority of income coming from project and scheme work. As part of continued expansion my client is looking to employ a new Project Sales Manager to add to their team. This person will inherit a pipeline worth more than £1.5m as well as established accounts. Along with the existing pipeline there will be an expectation to seek out some new business with the help of internal sales and national marketing. You will be supported by a full CAD department and a team of project managers. As a group, my client is able to offer a complete solution nationwide, my client offers – Turnkey kitchen design for refurb or new projects. Catering Equipment sales Stainless Steel Fabrications Equipment Servicing and repair. Working with clients across all sectors to include leisure, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, universities etc. Installations range in value from between £25k-£800k. The Job There will be many leads generated through enquiries, referrals and repeat business. However new business is still essential, you will also be expected to generate a good level of new business. Candidates will need to have experience of the commercial catering equipment sector, ideally with existing contacts and industry relationships to enable a fast start. An on-target performance would ensure earnings would exceed £60,000 p/a. Key responsibilities Take client brief Work alongside the design department to produce a presentation drawing Present the job, drawing and quote to the client Close the deal Coordinate any staff, contractors and training or demonstrations needed The Candidate The successful candidate must come from within the foodservice commercial catering sector and be able to demonstrate they are familiar with the types of customers.
