Do you have a passion for Product? Do you have experience in health and beauty and/or personal care, or a desire to move into the industry? Our client is looking for a Project Co-ordinator who will report directly to the Product Development and Design Manager and is responsible for market and new product research and allow the company to develop new products that fit within its sales strategy, costing and planning new product launches.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending trade shows and exhibitions (UK and overseas) to meet existing and potential suppliers to determine supplier portfolio.
  • Preliminarily approve suppliers ensuring all accreditation and audits meet UK and EU compliance.
  • Conduct product research to optimise product quality, cost and design.
  • Conduct market research both instore and online to stay abreast of new and shifting trends within the marketplace.
  • Create clear and precise briefs for suppliers for new projects.
  • Create design briefs for new products for the design team.
  • Negotiating preliminary costs and order quantities to assess project feasibility.
  • Manage new product lines from concept to costing ensuring timely launches within budget.
  • Attend relevant customer meetings to support the sales team.
  • Completing customer tenders, supplier selection, costings and sample requests.

Salary: £29,000 - £39,000 (DOE) + Benefits.
