A leading Commercial Insurance Broker is looking for a driven, sales focused Client Executive to join their Public Sector New Business team. This is your chance to work with a forward-thinking insurance brokerage that's reshaping how clients experience commercial insurance one conversation at a time. This role is offered either on a hybrid basis or remote with one day per fortnight in the office in Cheltenham.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll be the go-to expert for public sector organisations, helping them protect what matters most.
- Your days will be varied and rewarding from uncovering new leads and presenting bespoke insurance solutions, to meeting clients face-to-face and celebrating the wins that come from true partnership.
- You’ll build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Prospect, pitch, and close new business opportunities with confidence.
- Provide tailored insurance solutions over the phone, on video calls, and in person.
- Attend key conferences to grow your network and uncover opportunities.
- Use CRM tools to track your pipeline and forecast success.
- Collaborate with colleagues across service and renewal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
If you haven’t worked in the Education sector before no problem. We’ll give you all the training and support you need, plus full financial backing for your CII qualifications.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in insurance sales or broking.
- A solid understanding of general insurance principles and regulation.
- A natural ability to build rapport and earn trust quickly.
- A positive, target-driven mindset with a genuine focus on doing right by the client.
- Great communication, time management, and self-motivation skills.
- Previous Public sector insurance experience would be beneficial (Education, Charities, Not for Profit).
- Cert CII (or working towards it).
