Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of sustainable, award-winning products serving the Hospitality, Leisure, Foodservice, and Retail sectors. Their client base includes major QSR brands, pub chains, stadiums, festivals, and sporting events, supplied through a trusted network of distributors and wholesalers.

Following continued strong growth and product innovation, theyre now seeking an experienced manager and operator for the newly created position of National Sales Manager to manage the external sales team as well as a small internal sales department.

The Role

  • To develop, manage and direct a team of salespeople. To ensure customers receive excellent support and service maximising every sales opportunity.
  • Help sell new products and to target customers.
  • Work with the larger independent national accounts, calling on the business owners and directors to strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • To support and work with the leadership team, to deliver the corporate plan.
  • To ensure all staff have clear objectives and to hold weekly one to ones.
  • To look for new opportunities product, market, customer and present recommendations and plan to senior team.

The Person

You will be a dynamic and adaptable commercial professional with:

  • Proven experience managing national high spending accounts
  • Proven sales management experience.
  • A strong track record in the Hospitality, Foodservice or packaging sector.
  • The ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills.
