The Business Development Manager drives sales in a competitive environment, through building and maintaining strong relationships to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven business development professional to promote and sell the companies bathroom products to premium Bathroom Showrooms, Buying Groups (Fortis NBG) within the South of England London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and make a meaningful impact in a growing market.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive retail development strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and target markets.
- Showroom Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities for new showroom locations or partnerships, and coordinate their successful implementation with internal teams.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Sales and Negotiation: Pitch products and services to potential clients, negotiate contracts, and close agreements to drive revenue growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and market data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective strategies.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement in-store and online marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and merchandise displays.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience selling to the premium Bathroom showrooms within the South of England and possess the following skills:
