Role Overview

As a Regional Sales & Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing key customer accounts across North of England and Scotland. Your role will be focused on increasing revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding the customer base in line with company targets. This will be an approximate 50/50 split between new business and account management, focussing predominantly on the hotel channel (chains & independents). This person would be expected to be on the road 3-4 days a week and home based for the remaining time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and report on sales activity in your region, meeting volume and margin objectives
  • Manage contract renewals within your territory and ensure timely completion
  • Proactively generate and qualify new sales leads, sharing opportunities across the wider sales team where appropriate
  • Monitor customer performance against agreed trading terms and take corrective action where needed
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to monitor customer satisfaction and ensure service level agreements are met
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven B2B sales experience within the food/beverage industry
  • Experience of selling into the hotel sector would be a distinct advantage
  • A strong understanding of market trends, product positioning, and competitive dynamics
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to translate targets into actionable sales plans
  • Confident in identifying and developing new business opportunities within a defined territory
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus
