Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their commercial team and are looking for a Junior National Account Manager to manage and develop relationships within major Grocery Multiples and National Discounters.

Our client works with leading manufacturers in the health and beauty industry to grow their retail presence, open new routes to market and deliver exceptional commercial results. If you're commercially driven, passionate about retail and want to work across a diverse portfolio of exciting brands, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career. You will work with well-known brands, have autonomy in managing key customer relationships, and play a meaningful role in shaping future growth for our clients.

The Role

  • Take ownership of sales growth across major Grocery and Discount retailers (account base aligned to your experience).
  • Build and execute joint business plans with key customers in line with client objectives and annual budgets.
  • Drive sustainable growth and unlock new product listings and routes to market.
  • Manage promotional spend and activity to maximise ROI.
  • Produce accurate volume and value forecasts.
  • Build strong, effective relationships with customers and manufacturing clients alike.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities.

About You

  • Strong understanding of the major retail and FMCG environment – ideally within Health, Personal Care or OTC categories.
  • A track record of driving growth, delivering against KPIs and winning new business.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, creativity and the ability to deliver value‑adding solutions.
  • A proactive, energetic approach with resilience, enthusiasm and a “go‑getter” attitude.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence in using data to support commercial decisions.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Location – North – home based & hybrid working

Salary - ÂŁ40000-ÂŁ42000 Basic + Bonus + Car/Allowance + Excellent Benefits
