Do you have experience of developing new business within Motor Trade Insurance? Are you ready to make a real difference not just to your clients, but to your own career too? An established Financial Services Business are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Executive to lead and develop their Motor Trade Insurance function. There is a pipeline of warm leads made up of over 500 Motor Traders and car dealerships who are clients of the wider business. This role is offered on a remote basis with occasional visits to the office in the East Midlands.

What Youll Do:

  • Build relationships with clients, prospects and insurers.
  • Develop and grow an account of long-term clients.
  • Work through and manage a pipeline of assigned prospects and referrals.
  • Research and targeting of prospective new clients.
  • Prospecting warm leads.
  • Manage renewals and mid-term adjustments.
  • Preparation of market submissions to insurers and policy presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premium and income with both insurers and clients.
  • Assess and identify any areas of uninsured risks.
  • Ensure cover arranged always complies with the clients demands and needs.

What Youll Bring:

  • Previous experience in insurance sales or broking.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Motor Trade Insurance.
  • A solid understanding of general insurance principles and regulation.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and earn trust quickly.
  • A positive, target-driven mindset with a genuine focus on doing right by the client.
  • Great communication, time management, and self-motivation skills.
  • Cert CII (or working towards it).
