A leading Commercial Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced New Business Sales Executive to join their new business team delivering a range of wellbeing and protection products to clients in the Education and student accommodation sectors. You will proactively identify and pursue prospective clients, generate and manage your own pipeline, and strategically drive new business development. This position has a particular focus on non-advised products for the education and student sectors. This role is offered either on a hybrid basis or remote with fortnightly visits to the office in Cheltenham.
Overview:
- Responsible for prospecting and securing new clients.
- Speaking with clients and providing solutions over the phone, via video call, and in person.
- Attending key conferences to generate new opportunities.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts to the Client Director using pipeline reporting and CRM systems.
- Building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
- Travel to partner meetings and attend client promotional events.
Knowledge and experience:
- Previous experience in a new business sales role.
- You will be comfortable prospecting, generating leads, developing business and winning clients.
- Experience working in commercial insurance, wellbeing, or employee benefits sectors would be beneficial.
- Ability to understand people, establish rapport, and adapt communication styles.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
