Our client is a premium German manufacturer of home accessories, trusted for their craftsmanship, bespoke ability, and long-standing partnerships across retail and specialist channels. As part of their next phase of growth, they are creating an exciting new role that blends regional account management with high-impact new business development β and offers a clear path into a National Account Manager position within 18β24 months.
This is a newly created opportunity, born from both growth and succession planning. Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Manager, youβll split your time between:
- Regional Account Management (c.Total account value of just over Β£1m, with strong existing relationships in place)
- Identifying opportunities to increase range, margin, and long-term partnerships
- Key / National Account Development (c.Targeted new business development with major retail and national accounts)
- Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager on strategy, pitches, and negotiations
- Building the foundations for long-term, scalable national partnerships
Career Progression
- Transition away from smaller regional accounts
- Develop into a fully fledged National Account Manager, with the title, responsibility, and influence to match
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management (ideally within consumer goods or interiors)
- Strong relationship-building skills with both independents and larger customers
- Confidence in new business development and opening doors
- Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset β you think beyond just the next order
- Based in the North of England, with flexibility to travel as required
