A leading Commercial Insurance Broker is seeking an ambitious Account Handler or Sales Executive to join both their Charity and Education teams in Cheltenham. This is your chance to work with a forward-thinking insurance brokerage that is reshaping how clients experience commercial insurance.
The Client Executive will be responsible for connecting with existing clients, ensuring their needs for renewals and mid-term adjustments are understood and dealt with in an efficient manner. This will involve finding the right coverages, offering competitive pricing, and providing outstanding service to clients and colleagues alike.
This role is offered on a remote basis with fortnightly visits to the office in Cheltenham.
Overview:- Building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
- Ongoing account management and renewal for our existing portfolio.
- Exceeding annual targets.
- Engaging regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the broking and client service teams.
- Quarterly MI meetings held with each partner.
- Travel to partner meetings and attend client promotional events.
- Working knowledge of all the main classes of general insurance and the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
- Previous experience in commercial insurance with knowledge of charity or NFP sectors beneficial.
- A solid understanding of general insurance principles and regulation.
- A natural ability to build rapport and earn trust quickly.
- A positive, target-driven mindset with a genuine focus on doing right by the client.
- Great communication, time management, and self-motivation skills.
- Previous public sector insurance experience would be beneficial (education, charities, not for profit).
- Cert CII (or working towards it).
- Salary of up to £42,000.
