Our client is looking for a dynamic insurance management professional to lead their Commercial/Corporate team in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, and would require office presence at least three days per week. Responsibilities Include: Deliver strong, visionary leadership to the Bristol offices Commercial & Corporate client account teams. Design and drive a business plan aimed at achieving targeted revenue, aligned with growth goals. Create an environment that supports team members in meeting individual and group objectives, with a focus on increasing recurring revenue streams. Regularly update the Regional Director on progress toward strategic and operational objectives. Monitor team performance against targets, providing coaching and feedback to support individual achievements. Ensure services meet FCA regulatory standards, with training and oversight for full compliance. Build and maintain a network of clients, prospects, key influencers, and insurer contacts in the local business community. Manage a portfolio of major client accounts, acting as Client Director. Contribute to the regional leadership team, championing best practices and strategic insights. Skills and Experience Required: Proven record of success in a Commercial and/or Middle Market leadership role, with a strong track record of individual and team results. Confident decision-maker with strong personal influence and the ability to work independently. Deep understanding of strategic and consultative sales approaches, with refined questioning techniques. Strong motivational skills, fostering an environment that maximizes team performance and collaboration. Full P&L budget accountability, demonstrating sound business and financial insight. Extensive experience in Commercial and/or Middle Market client retention and new client acquisition. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Proficiency in MS Office tools is beneficial. Preferred Qualifications: ACII qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential. Why Join?
