I am working with a great business who are specialists in the design and build of commercial kitchens and hospitality spaces. My client is looking for a creative and commercially minded Project Designer to join their team, delivering innovative catering and interior design solutions across hospitality and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce 2D layouts, mood boards and 3D visualisations for client presentations.
  • Design commercial kitchens and front-of-house hospitality spaces, including customer flow, counters and furniture layouts.
  • Prepare equipment, furniture and finishes schedules, ensuring designs meet budget and operational requirements.
  • Develop detailed design proposals, elevations and coordinated M&E drawings as projects progress.
  • Support the Sales team with design-led solutions, specifications, quotations and client presentations.
  • Attend client meetings and site surveys, gathering briefs and presenting design concepts.
  • Coordinate with Estimating, Project Management to ensure designs are fully integrated and deliverable.
  • Assist with technical and design queries through installation and project handover.
  • Maintain accurate project records and manage workload effectively.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, products and relevant regulations.

Key Relationships: You will work closely with Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Operations, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

About You:

  • Strong design, space planning and visual presentation skills.
  • Experience producing both concept and technical design drawings.
  • Commercially aware with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience within hospitality, catering design, interiors or fit-out projects is desirable.
