Role Overview

As a Regional Sales & Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and managing key customer accounts across London and surrounding areas. Your role will be focused on increasing revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and expanding the customer base in line with company targets. This will be an approximate 50/50 split between new business and account management, focusing predominantly on the hotel channel (chains & independents).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and report on sales activity in your region, meeting volume and margin objectives
  • Manage contract renewals within your territory and ensure timely completion
  • Proactively generate and qualify new sales leads, sharing opportunities across the wider sales team where appropriate
  • Monitor customer performance against agreed trading terms and take corrective action where needed
  • Provide regular and accurate sales reports to your line manager
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to monitor customer satisfaction and ensure service level agreements are met
  • Maintain accurate and secure records of all contractual agreements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven B2B sales experience within the food/beverage industry
  • Experience of selling into the hotel sector would be a distinct advantage
  • A strong understanding of market trends, product positioning, and competitive dynamics
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to translate targets into actionable sales plans
  • Confident in identifying and developing new business opportunities within a defined territory
  • Skilled at understanding and responding to customer needs with tailored product/service solutions
  • Excellent teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus
