An established specialist Insurance Broker who are part of a larger national Business Services group are currently looking to add an experienced Sales Executive to their established new business team. They operate across a range of sectors including retail, hospitality, care, leisure, and healthcare. They seek a motivated professional with previous commercial insurance experience to support the needs of a diverse and interesting group of Commercial clients. There is a pipeline of warm prospects generated through the wider business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with clients, prospects and insurers
- Development and growth of an account of long-term clients
- Work through and manage a pipeline of assigned prospects and referrals
- Research & targeting of prospective new clients
- Prospecting warm leads.
- Work with prospects and clients to collect information in respect of new business enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Preparation of market submissions to insurers and policy presentations to clients
- Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premium and income with both insurers and clients
- Assess and identify any areas of uninsured risks
- Ensure cover arranged always complies with the client’s demands and needs
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience gained within commercial insurance
- To have a well-founded understanding of the fundamentals of Insurance, its legal context and the operation of the Insurance marketplace
- Demonstrable success providing telephone-based advice in sales
- Ability to manage high volumes of enquiries
- To maintain consistent conversion rates in quoting and selling to new clients
- Project a professional and competent image, with an engaging and friendly manner, over the telephone and face to face
- Strong relationship building, influencing and team building skills
- Experience maintaining a client-led approach
Salary/Benefits Information:
