The Role:
As a Design Engineer you will:
- Develop and manage product designs from initial concept through to final production.
- Produce detailed CAD models and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior management, manufacturing, sales and marketing to ensure successful product delivery.
- Provide support for prototype builds, including hands-on workshop tasks and testing.
- Participate in design reviews and product testing.
- Support post-production with ongoing design improvements and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all designs meet performance, regulatory, safety, and cost requirements.
