An established, independent Chartered Insurance Broker seeks a HNW / Private Client Account Handler to join their specialist Private Client team. The Account Handler will work closely with Client Executives and Account Directors to provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions. You will also have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients with the support of the broader team. Whether you're an experienced Private Client Advisor or a Personal Lines Account Handler looking to develop your career in high-net-worth insurance, this role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development with one of Bristol’s leading independent Brokers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and servicing a portfolio of Private Client accounts from renewal through to day-to-day administration
  • Supporting Client Executives and Account Directors with broking activities, reporting and client servicing
  • Responding to client enquiries and policy changes promptly and professionally
  • Providing a proactive and professional service for both internal and external contacts, including clients, insurers and colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client cover through cross-selling and reviewing potential gaps in cover
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Being the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external stakeholders

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous personal lines insurance experience with exposure to HNW / Private Clients insurance beneficial
  • Knowledge of relevant Insurance Products and services and understanding of the principles of insurance
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and insurers
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Cert CII qualified or actively working towards the qualification
