Cavendish Education Trust (CET) currently works with 3 Eastbourne schools: Cavendish all-through School, Roselands Infants School, and Stafford Junior School. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed professional to manage all of the school sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to maintain and develop our school sites to enable us to provide an excellent working and learning environment for our pupils and staff. This is an exciting time to join our team as Cavendish School is part of the DfE School Rebuilding Programme which involves the redevelopment of our sports centre. This is a school-based role, working at the Cavendish School, but you will be required to regularly visit the other schools.
Responsibilities:- Lead on the Trust's building projects including the planning and development to enhance our premises across the Trust's schools.
- Lead on the Health and Safety for the Trust and ensure that all statutory and compliance requirements are met across the schools in accordance with strategic plans.
- Manage the site staff across all school sites and be a valued team player.
- Be an excellent communicator and negotiator as the role will be liaising with school staff and contractors.
- Lead on contractual services, e.g., grounds maintenance, and be the Trust's lead on environment and sustainability plans.
As a full-time position, you will receive an annual leave entitlement per year and you will join a team of dedicated and hard-working staff.
