- Main Tasks
- Provide day to day transaction support to senior team members
- Keeps team members appraised of developments in a timely manner
- Shows judgement in prioritisation of tasks
- Client contact with supervision
- Assist in pulling together certain sections of a pitch
- Assist senior team members in gathering of client take‑on procedures
- Obtain and compare data room quotes with associate supervision as appropriate
- Assist in pulling together the data room and reviewing documents
- Assist in the Teaser, IM and Management Presentation drafting process as guided by senior team members
- Assist in pulling together the Potential Purchasers list
- Assist in carrying out basic financial modelling and data analysis
- Develop understanding of early stages of M&A process
- Ad hoc research and help
Required qualifications, skills, experience & competencies
- Minimum 1 years’ transaction experience gained within M&A, Corporate Finance or Transaction Services
- Interest in the Technology sector, with prior sector experience beneficial but not essential
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment with an ability to grasp and understand business issues quickly
- Appetite for varied project work and a desire to contribute to a highly successful M&A team
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure and manage multiple commitments
- Able to deliver and to work effectively across teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with colleagues and clients in business and social situations
- Strong technical ability
- Excellent report writing skills and modelling skills
