We are looking for a Business Tax Assistant Manager to join our awesome tax team, who has a real focus on building on their tax knowledge and experience to help deliver a robust & tax efficient service to help clients meet their wider objectives. Our business Tax team in Northern Ireland are growing, and we are currently seeking a Business Tax Assistant Manager to join them on their journey.
About the day to day
As a Business Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll take a client focussed approach ensuring great delivery and service. Day to day you’ll be responsible for delivering compliance and some advisory work for a portfolio of local and international clients. You’ll be working with Business Tax Managers to deliver your client work. You’ll get stuck into a range of responsibilities, including:
- Maintaining an in depth, up to date, knowledge of taxation as you support your clients navigating an ever changing environment
- Manage your own client portfolio whilst being able to actively seek opportunities for cross-selling other CPs that could support your clients goals
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services
- Support junior members of the team providing training and mentorship to help boost them as well as the teams overall performance
- Work closely with other departments within the firm, building your internal network, such as with audit and advisory to provide a seamless service to clients
The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team are always happy to support you.

You will also be ACCA / ATT / ACA qualified, nearly qualified or equivalent, or working towards your CTA qualification.
