Global Highland are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Operator to work within a clean room manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a small, collaborative team producing high-quality technical products.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Production Team, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Efficient and safe operation of manufacturing equipment used in production

  • Ensuring quality and quantity targets are met in line with company standards

  • Monitoring equipment performance and taking proactive steps to maintain efficiency

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs

  • Participating in continuous improvement projects and initiatives

  • Conducting quality control checks on finished products

  • Maintaining accurate written and electronic production records

  • Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the clean room environment

  • Carrying out any other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors or management

Key Skills & Behaviours

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or production line environment (clean room experience advantageous)

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S and Kaizen (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • High standards of cleanliness and organisation in the workplace

  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic

  • Consistent, high-quality output under minimal supervision

  • Basic computer literacy
