- Tier 1 Site Manager β Relocation Project (York University)
- We are seeking an experienced
Tier 1 Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major relocation project at York University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site operations, ensuring the relocation is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to university activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations throughout the relocation project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, logistics, and stakeholder activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and programme, resolving issues as they arise.
- Liaise with the client, university representatives, and project team to maintain effective communication.
- Maintain accurate site records and report on project performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tier 1 Site Manager on large-scale construction or relocation projects.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Manager Card), and First Aid at Work certification.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience working in live operational environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard.
