Job Description

Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects across a range of sectors, from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

The role involves managing programme, budget, quality, health & safety, resources and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and resources.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality and performance.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and variations.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Oversee completion, snagging and final handover.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
  • SMSTS and relevant CSCS qualification desirable.
  • Relevant construction qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
