Site Supervisor
Role: Site Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager
Pay: Β£25.00 per hour
Location: Nottingham
Start: 14th September
Length: 12 weeks
Requirements
- Fit Out & Refurbishment experience
- Trade background, ideally with joinery or general fit-out experience
- Experience working as a Site Supervisor, Assistant Site Manager or similar
- Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, quality and site procedures
- Ability to coordinate deliveries, inductions and day-to-day site activities
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to get involved with joinery, snagging and general fit-out work
- Ability to take responsibility for the site when the Site Manager is off site or unavailable
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Site Manager as the number two on site
- Assist with the day-to-day running and coordination of the project
- Supervise trades and subcontractors to ensure works are progressing safely and to programme
- Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics
- Carry out site inductions and ensure all operatives comply with Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Monitor quality, progress and workmanship across the site
- Assist with resolving practical day-to-day site issues
- Support the Site Manager with maintaining a safe, organised and productive site
- Carry out snagging and assist with joinery and general fit-out works where required
- Help coordinate multiple trades and ensure works are completed to the required standard
- Maintain clear communication with the Site Manager and wider project team
- Be capable of holding the site and managing day-to-day operations when the Site Manager is off site or tied up
- Take a hands-on approach to the role rather than being purely management/desk based
