For this role you must possess the following:
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner (5+ Years)
- Strong Tier 1 main contractor background (5+ Years)
- Design & Build project experience is essential
- Extensive experience using ASTA Powerproject
- Experience producing and managing construction programmes from tender through to project completion
- Experience working on projects valued up to £50 million
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, planning methodologies, and programme management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Duties:
- Produce, develop and manage detailed construction programmes using ASTA Powerproject
- Work closely with pre-construction, commercial, design and operational teams to develop robust project programmes
- Manage Design & Build programmes from tender stage through to project completion
- Support multiple live projects across the North West, depending on project size and complexity
- Monitor project progress against programme and identify potential risks and delays
- Develop mitigation strategies and recovery programmes where required
- Attend project progress meetings and provide planning support to project teams and senior management
- Produce regular programme updates, reports and critical path analysis
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure programme objectives are achieved
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with contractual requirements
- Provide planning expertise throughout all phases of the construction process
Sector Experience:
- Design & Build construction projects
- Typical project values between £10 million and £20 million
- Experience delivering projects up to £50 million
- Commercial, industrial, education, healthcare or public sector project experience would be advantageous
