What We're Looking For
Relevant Qualifications:- CSCS
- First Aid - Desirable
- Extensive industry experience combined with a high level of proficiency and confidence in using AutoCAD to support effective project delivery
- Demonstrated industry expertise with a proven history of delivering complex engineering packages across bulk earthworks, demolition, haulage, remediation and site clearance projects
- Experience leading or supporting junior engineers
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- 3D modelling capability
- Earthworks modelling and volume calculations
- Ability to review and check engineering designs
- Good understanding of civil engineering standards and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Able to manage workload and support project delivery

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join and lead the delivery of a broad portfolio of projects based in South Yorkshire. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and oversight, ensuring all engineering activities are carried out to the highest standards and in full compliance with project specifications, regulations, and industry best practices. You will manage and direct on-site operations, guide project teams, resolve complex engineering challenges, and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout every stage of each project.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support junior engineers within the team
- Use AutoCAD and 3D modelling software daily
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Attend site as required to support engineering delivery
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and specifications
- Assist with technical problem solving and design development
