The Role
As an experienced Estimator, you will work on completing estimations for tarmacking / surfacing projects on Council Frameworks, major projects and bespoke contracts. The role is hybrid with some home working, site working and working from the East Midlands or High Wycombe office.
Requirements
- CSCS Card
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Extensive experience in Surfacing as an Estimator
It is also desired that you hold the following skills & experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial related field
Duties
- Produce bills of quantities
- Prepare bid documents for surfacing contracts
- Review and interpret contracts to make accurate decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain, negotiate, communicate and guide the process of tenders and bids
- Estimating pre-construction and Quantity Surveying towards the end of the project
