Caval Ltd are looking to expand their extraordinarily busy and market leading Civil Engineering recruitment division with a Trainee Resourcer / Labour Manager.

The position is an immediate start (following face to face interview process) and based in our city centre Leeds office. Overall, you will be supporting our busy Civil Engineering division, reporting to a line manager and gaining training and invaluable experience in a sales / recruitment / office environment along the way. It would be a great way to learn the industry and successful candidates will be looking at promotion to Recruitment Consultant after around 12 months. Upon successful probation completion, usually 3 months, you will also be entitled to commission every month. This amount can vary based on the performance of the division as a whole. Weekly hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday, no weekends or evenings, and we are looking to make an appointment as soon as possible.

Salary: £26,436.80 per year - Initial salary + commission after successful 3 month probation OTE £35,000+

Supplemental pay types: Commission / Bonus scheme

Essential functions and basic duties:

  • Making outgoing calls to workers to offer work, request information, documents and timesheets
  • Answering landline calls from candidates looking for work and dealing with queries
  • Use excellent customer service continuously
  • Communicating over the telephone
  • Candidate check ins
  • Data Input
  • Sending and receiving emails
  • Store and retrieve information
  • Completing and chasing timesheets
  • Managing in house computer systems
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • General Administration duties as required
  • Updating and maintaining company database
  • Printing and scanning documents when required
  • Posting job adverts on our website & external job boards
  • Using job boards such as CV Library and Total Jobs to source candidates
  • Operating Microsoft Office including extensive use of Excel Spreadsheets, Word and Outlook
