Commercial Manager
Location: Central Scotland – travel throughout Scotland required

A rapidly growing renewable energy innovator is looking for a Commercial Manager to help shape commercial strategy, support customer and partner engagement, and drive the commercialisation of new power and flexibility technologies.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in developing commercial frameworks, supporting negotiations, analysing market opportunities, and guiding the commercial aspects of project and product development. This role sits at the heart of a fast-moving organisation working to deploy cutting-edge energy solutions that support a smarter, cleaner, more resilient power system.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design and execution of commercial models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Engage with utilities, grid operators, energy traders, project developers, and large energy users to understand needs and shape commercial proposals.
- Work on commercial terms for partnerships, customer agreements, and asset deployments.
- Develop business cases and commercial assessments for new markets and applications.
- Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to translate technology capability into commercial value.
- Track market, regulatory, and pricing developments across the power sector to inform internal strategy.
- Prepare commercial materials, proposals, and internal analysis for senior leadership.

About You
- Experience in the power or energy markets, ideally within flexibility, storage, generation, grid services, trading, or commercial development.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to develop business cases and assess market opportunities.
- Confident communicator with experience engaging customers, partners, or external stakeholders.
- Comfortable supporting negotiations and working on commercial agreements.
- Motivated by working in a growing organisation where roles evolve and you can shape how things are done.
- A proactive, organised team player who thrives in collaborative, mission-driven environments.
