Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 2-month project in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civils, ideally combined with experience in district heating and/or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor
- Strong civils/construction background
- District heating or heat network experience highly desirable
- Some M&E experience, particularly mechanical services, pipework or plant
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- SMSTS and CSCS
- Experience with testing, commissioning and handover would be advantageous
- Knowledge of CIBSE CP1 / district heating best practice desirable
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and site teams
- Coordinate civils, mechanical and electrical activities
- Manage subcontractors and site operatives
- Monitor programme, progress and quality
- Ensure RAMS, permits and site documentation are maintained
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives
- Oversee district heating pipework and associated infrastructure
- Assist with testing, flushing, commissioning and handover
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards
