Our busy civil engineering client is looking for an Aggregates Manager who is familiar with all aspects of aggregates procurement and waste management. The ideal candidate will come from a similar role and background, with the WAMITAB qualification.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Office based in Barnsley, with occasional site visits across Yorkshire
Overview: Management of procurement, operations, and compliance for soil, aggregate, and bulk materials projects, including earthworks, site clearance, demolition, remediation, and haulage.

What We're Looking For
- Relevant Qualifications: WAMITAB Level 4 (COTC - Technical Competence) Preferred
- Experience: At least 3-5 years' experience in operations, procurement, or materials management within aggregates, bulk earthworks, or waste/recycling sectors. Demonstrable experience managing suppliers, budgets, and stock levels. Exposure to regulatory compliance, quality, and safety management systems. Proven experience in procurement, stock management, and materials handling.
- Key Skills: Strong organisational and administrative skills for office-based operations. Competent in WMS/ERP systems, Excel, and procurement reporting. Analytical approach to stock control, cost management, and operational planning. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Ability to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a WAMITAB certified Aggregate Manager to lead office-based operations, managing procurement, stock control, and compliance for soil, aggregate, and related materials. Key Responsibilities:
