Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Highways Supervisor to join a long-term highways project in Warrington. You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Highways Supervisor
- Strong background in highways or civil engineering projects
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- CSCS Card and First Aid qualification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site activities
- Coordinate operatives and subcontractors
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Monitor quality and progress of works
- Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks
- Report progress and issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
