Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the construction site.
The role involves managing documentation, coordinating communications, maintaining records, and supporting site operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Site Manager and project team.
- Maintain site records, project documentation, and filing systems.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
- Manage timesheets, attendance records, and employee documentation.
- Process purchase orders, delivery records, and supplier documentation.
- Coordinate communication between the site, head office, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain health and safety records and assist with compliance documentation.
- Order and monitor office supplies as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working Conditions
- Based in a construction site office.
- Standard business hours with occasional overtime as required.
- PPE must be worn when accessing active construction areas.
