The Project\\n\\nAs an experienced Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various projects for the company in accordance with company objectives and procedures. You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time. Managing Deep Drainage, Civils & Water Infrastructure schemes across Yorkshire.\\n\\nRequirements \\n\\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\\n\\nSMSTS\\nCSCS Black Card\\nDegree in a Civil Engineering / Construction related discipline (is ideal)\\n2 years + as a Project Manager delivering civil engineering works on water treatment schemes\\nExperienced in Deep Drainage schemesFor this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;\\n\\nProficient in Microsoft Office\\nHas excellent written & verbal reporting skills\\nTechnical knowledge of construction and best practices\\nProject Management experience in the Construction industry\\nKnowledge of SHEQ procedures in a construction & civil engineering environment\\nGood working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting \\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nJob Title: Project Manager\\nLocation: Working on Water Treatment Projects across Yorkshire\\nReporting to: Director \\n\\nDuties\\n\\nPre-contract planning and liaison with estimators\\nPlanning, programming, and resourcing contracts\\nIdentifying tender and other financial opportunities\\nDelegating duties to engineering and contracts staff\\nIdentifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variations\\nAccepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts\\nCompiling applications for payment and agreeing final accounts\\nProviding quality input to regional management and planning meetings\\nManaging projects to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets\\nCompleting monthly improvement plan reviews with Bid and Pre – construction specialists\\nMonitor, review, issue and update subcontract liabilities, applications and payments\\nAssist with supply chain (suppliers & subcontractor) approvals, assessments, and performance reviews\\nLiaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, sub-contractors and others\\nCompiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teams \\n\\nThis is a Permanent position with a competitive rate on offer for the successful candidate.
