Job Title: Project Engineer (Retail Refrigeration Packages) Location: Midlands Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 Package: Company car Pension scheme Field-based role (with occasional home / office work) 25 days annual leave (+ public holidays) Mobile phone & laptop Door-to-door payment Career progression opportunities Specialist training & developmentKey Requirements: 5+ years\’ experience working as a Project Engineer completing refrigeration projects within the retail sector City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning F-Gas qualification: City & Guilds 2079, BESA F-Gas, CITB J11, or LCL F-Gas Understanding of RS232/RJ485 2/4 wire, Cat5e/Cat6 networks, and peripheral controls/interfaces. Good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works Commercial knowledge and ability to negotiate terms with a range of partiesRole Overview: We are looking for a Project Engineer to manage refrigeration package installations on retail sites. You will be expected to coordinate site activities, ensure adherence to H&S protocols and ensure that all installations meet project design specifications. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Director Conduct engineering and technical surveys Assess existing controls, networks, and access routes Evaluate existing services for reuse Disconnect and isolate M&E services for decommissioned fixtures Maintain functionality of remaining systems during decommissioning Ensure TMS systems remain updated and operational Assist with installation of new equipment (plant, gas coolers, cabinets, cold stores) Install and test control/sensor wiring and communication networks Support technical assessments and equipment evaluations Conduct site surveys for equipment reuse Tag assets and update system recordsContacts to Apply: Sam Hunter – Fit Out & Interiors Manager: (phone number removed) Cameron Lally – Senior Resourcer: (phone number removed)
