We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect to join our clients busy studio in Leamington Spa. This is a critical role for an ARB-registered architect who is ready to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design quality, technical excellence, and successful delivery. You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing client relationships, and acting as the primary point of contact for contractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects across all RIBA Stages, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develop design proposals, technical drawings, and construction packages to a high standard of accuracy and detail.
- Manage and mentor junior architectural staff within project teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and external consultants.
- Prepare and submit planning applications and technical design submissions (Building Control).
- Conduct site visits and inspections, managing the construction phase and contract administration.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant statutory regulations and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- ARB Registration or equivalent recognized professional qualification.
- Proven experience working as a project Architect or in a similar leadership role within the UK building industry.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects through RIBA Stages 0-7.
- Strong technical design and detailing skills, with a deep understanding of UK Building Regulations.
- Excellent proficiency in Archicad, Revit or AutoCad.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and client-management skills.
