The Project\\n\\nAs an experienced Contracts Manager, you will ensure that the contracts are carried out on time and to the company quality standards. This role will be managing various contracts on various surfacing schemes around the UK.\\n\\nRequirements \\n\\nFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;\\n\\nSMSTS\\nFirst Aid\\nCSCS Card\\nDriving LicenseFor this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below;\\n\\nExperience managing multiple surfacing / reinstatement / Composite Pavement schemes at once\\nPrevious experience as a Contracts Manager on surfacing schemes / highways surfacing\\nSome experience working on CBGM / Composite Pavements \\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nJob Title: Contracts Manager\\nProjects: Surfacing – CBGM & Composite Pavement Schemes\\nLocation: Based out of Midlands / North of England but happy to travel and work away from home\\nDuration: Permanent \\n\\nDuties\\n\\nManaging multiple surfacing contracts to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targets\\nPre-contract planning and liaison with estimators\\nLeading and delegating duties to engineering and contract staff\\nMaintaining a working knowledge of current contract forms, acts, and legislation\\nAccepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts\\nEnsuring company's Health and Safety and other IMS procedures are complied with planning, programming, and resourcing contracts\\nLiaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and sub-contractors and others\\nAssisting with the preparation of quality bids, PQQs, and other presentations as required\\nProviding technical, contractual, and legal advice\\nProviding accurate information for regional monthly contract appraisals and other reports as required\\nBudgeting, monitoring, and control of contract finances\\nIdentifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variations\\nCompiling applications for payment and agreeing final accounts\\nMotivating, coaching, and providing guidance to staff and operatives\\nInterviewing, selection, recruitment, discipline, and dismissal of staff\\nMaintaining photographic library, publicity material, contract press releases, etc\\nImproving and promoting company profile and activities \\n\\nThis is a Permanent position with a competitive Salary on offer for the successful candidate.
