Assistant Site Manager - Cladding & Fire Remediation (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a cladding and fire remediation project on a residential development.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, assisting the Site Manager with the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of external wall remediation works.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of site operations.
Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Assist with site inspections, quality control, and snagging.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
Liaise with residents, clients, and project stakeholders in a professional manner.
Help ensure materials, labour, and plant are effectively managed throughout the project.
Requirements
Previous experience in residential construction, ideally involving cladding, façade, or fire remediation projects.
Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and site management practices.
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification preferred.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a project team and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Experience with Multi Vista Software an advantage
