We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the construction of a brand-new coffee shop and drive-thru development.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced commercial project from site setup through to successful completion, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and be confident managing subcontractors, coordinating site activities, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day site operations from commencement to completion.
Ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site labour.
Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.
Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries, and plant.
Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reports.
Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
Experience delivering retail, hospitality, or drive-thru developments is highly desirable.
Valid SMSTS certification.
CSCS Managers Card.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme targets.
Full UK driving licence
