Assistant Site Manager We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Site Manager to support the successful delivery of residential developments from construction through to completion and handover. Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will help coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials and site activities, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site and build programme. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials and deliveries to ensure smooth progress. Monitor workmanship and ensure construction is completed in line with drawings, specifications and company standards. Promote high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, including inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, risk assessments and method statements. Monitor subcontractor performance, quality and progress, resolving issues where possible and escalating when required. Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, delivery notes, inspection records and reports. Assist with snagging, quality inspections and the successful handover of completed homes. Attend and contribute to contractor meetings, site audits and project reviews. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, customers and internal teams to ensure effective communication throughout the build. Support planning, procurement and scheduling activities and contribute to continuous improvement across the site. Ensure the site, sales areas and completed homes are maintained to a high standard.
