Junior Project Manager Company Overview My client is a growing, family-run construction business specialising in refurbishment and fit-out projects across government and education sectors. With a strong commitment to high-quality delivery and long-term client relationships, they offer a supportive team environment and hands-on leadership. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing 2 to 3 projects at any one time, with individual values ranging from Β£10,000 to Β£200,000. As you develop within the business, opportunities to manage larger projects and take on greater responsibility will become available. Sectors of Work β Government Buildings (e.g. Job Centres, DWP): Security upgrades, general refurbishments, and fire door installations. β Educational Buildings: Fit-outs, refurbishments, and new-build projects. The role involves both office and site-based work. No two weeks are the same β reflecting the dynamic nature of the construction industry. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 β 17:00 Salary & Progression β Starting Salary: Β£35,000 β Β£39,500 (dependent on experience and performance) β Appraisals: Conducted every 6 months β Promotions: No fixed timelines β progression is based on individual performance and company growth Additional Information β Overtime: Not applicable β this is a salaried position β Night/Weekend Shifts: Included in salary β no additional differential pay β Performance Bonuses: Discretionary β based on delivery success (e.g. under budget, ahead of schedule) β Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays.
