Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations on a major civil engineering project in Ipswich. You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor on civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality procedures
- Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- CSCS Card and First Aid qualification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site operations and workforce
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with project specifications
- Coordinate subcontractors and site activities
- Monitor progress and report to the Site Agent/Project Manager
- Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
