We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join our growing team in Horwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both pre-construction and project delivery, with the role currently split approximately 70% estimating and 30% project surveying.

You'll be working across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks projects, including:

  • Domestic projects
  • Social housing
  • Commercial developments
  • Industrial works
  • Small housing developments

Projects range from small packages through to contract values of approximately £1.5 million.

The Role

  • Preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions
  • Pricing civils and groundworks packages
  • Managing project costs and commercial performance on live projects
  • Valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Working closely with clients, subcontractors and the delivery team

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has solid experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and/or groundworks
  • Has estimating experience and is confident pricing work independently
  • Is commercially aware and well organised
  • Wants to play a key role in a small, ambitious business
  • Is based locally to Horwich or within a reasonable commuting distance
