A Large Civil Engineering company is looking for a Civil Site Manager to work on a new contract in North Nottinghamshire / North Lincolnshire.
As an experienced Civil Site Manager, you will manage the civils package on a new scheme in North Nottinghamshire.

For this role it is essential that you hold the skills & experience below:
- Experience as a Site Manager working on Civils projects (5 years +)
- Experience managing piling, foundations, external works and civils packages
The Role
- Location: North Nottinghamshire / North Lincolnshire
- Duration: 3-6 Months
- Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties
- Responsible for quality of works on site
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards on site
- Attending and participating in project meetings
- Completing briefings and toolbox talks
- Producing RAMS and briefing the workforce to ensure understanding
- Managing the workforce in the delivery of complex civil works
- Reading and understanding drawings and taking accurate material take offs
- Ensuring work is being completed on time and within budget
- Completing Construction phase plans, Environmental plans, ITPs, and Quality plans
- Liaising with the project stakeholders and client personnel as required
- Administration/completion of site paperwork, records & head office returns
- Managing and ordering resources and materials at each stage of the project
- Managing subcontractors by ensuring the programme of works is completed
- Planning, coordinating & motivating effective deployment of allocated personnel and resources
- Updating weekly progress on site programme and site drawings & sharing with Project / Contracts Managers
- Promoting & implementing site specific management plans to ensure site activities comply with company policies
