Job Title: Site Manager - Civil Engineering
Location: Oxenton just outside Cheltenham
Day Rate: 350pd CIS or Limited Company
Role Highlights & Packages:
- 6 month contract

- Full civils package including drainage, ducting, roads, footways, 4m diameter chambers, deep excavations and more
- Opportunity to work on the water/sewerage network
- Strong civil engineering experience essential; water/STW experience would be ideal
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month project in Oxenton, just outside Cheltenham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, ideally combined with experience in water and sewage treatment works. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor
- Strong civils/construction background
- Water network expeirence
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
- SMSTS and CSCS
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations and site teams
- Manage subcontractors and site operativesMonitor programme, progress and quality
- Ensure RAMS, permits and site documentation are maintained
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards
