We are working with a specialist consultancy providing expert property, surveying, and housing services across the UK. They work closely with housing providers, local authorities, and private clients to deliver large-scale property assessments, stock condition surveys, and validation projects.
The Opportunity
We are seeking surveyors to undertake pre-populated validation surveys on behalf of a leading housing association. The role involves verifying information, making amendments where necessary, and taking photos. You will benefit from excellent access and minimal travel between properties, with the flexibility to either call residents prior to visits or knock on doors directly. Letters have already been sent to residents, and the housing association owns entire streets and postcodes, further reducing travel and making surveying more efficient. This is a high-volume temporary opportunity with potential for ongoing work. 50-70 surveys per week are expected, equating to 4,700- 6,600 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct validation surveys using pre-populated data.
- Check, verify, and amend survey information accurately.
- Take photographs and record property details where required.
- Work within daylight hours.
- Operate First Touch software for survey management on a provided iPhone.
- Apply HHSRS knowledge effectively during surveys.
- Maintain communication with the to report progress.
